Mae, don't fight the rays
The tendrils beckon
You were displaced
So you begin
From this collagen
And you will soon
Be back again
Take, take your old boat
With it you'll row
Where the poppies grow
Don't get too cross
This fountain's exhaust
Will guide you through
A world exhumed
Destruction, adieu
For all that we knew
Green glowing crosses will bloom
Harmonious doubloon
Detritus, exposed
Ignite us, repose
Corrugation of white denim
Scan the passport
Insipid venom
Infiltrating automaton
Swindling spindle
Gone and gone
Crushed beneath an aura of torpor (detritus)
Crossing several seams, stitched by a northerner (detritus)
High rise for exfoliating luchador (detritus)
Surmise there could ever be anything more
Detritus
There was no vitality
Nothing more for which she could conceive
Intrinsic mortality, something in this place moves and breathes
You have to go back, back into the bile you shall fall
Molasses crawls in quantum stacks, you rowed your best, you had some gall
This is not an ultimatum, nor is it a candour of wits
This is your last chance to escape from indifference in the mist
The world fares you well, this earth is nothing more than just a dream
Crawl back to the fountain, where you'll stay unharmed and pristine
SHE STIRS UNDERNEATH THE SYRUPY LIGHT
SHE TRIES TO FREE HER ENDORPHINS BUT THE MIND STAYS TRITE
SHE STOLE TOO MUCH IN SICKNESS, SHE WORE OFF THE SPELL
SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYONE, SHE DOESN'T KNOW HERSELF
HER VISCOUS UNIVERSE, IT STARTS TO COALIGN
SHE CHOOSES IF IT HURTS AND SHE STAYS MOBILE AND ALIVE
IT ENSNARES HER IN THE AIR, FOLLOW HER IF YOU DARE
THIS BARRIER THAT WE SHARE, MINDS MILKY, TAMED AND FLARED
about
Over a 2 month period of time I started thinking. This music thing. I love it too much. I love sound. I love noise. This is an album constructed from those two rudimentary aural properties. This is an album about a young woman named Mae and her bizarre adventures.
